Models leave sites. The cut changes, a ban lands, a payment stalls, or they simply prefer a lobby that fits the show they actually do. Viewers experience this as a disappearance: the favorite thumbnail is offline for a week, then a stranger in chat says the model is “on another site now”. Some of those strangers are telling the truth. Some are collecting clicks. The move is ordinary. The impersonator is the part you have to slow down for.
A real move is usually announced by the model, in their own room, before they go quiet. A line in the bio, a last show where they say the new name, a social account you already knew was theirs. A real move is not a random private message from a new account that happens to use the same face. Fake profiles and social media risk are the warnings. This page is the calmer case: they actually left.
Confirm it is them
Match a detail only the old room would have: a specific phrase they used, a schedule, a set you recognize, a link they posted while you were watching. Do not match only a face. Faces are copied. If they told you the new site in the old room, go to that site and search the name they gave you, not a name a tipper invented. Stripchat, Chaturbate, LiveJasmin, and the other how-to-use guides on this site are maps of the search box, not proof that any particular model is there.
If you cannot confirm it, stop. Missing a week of shows is cheaper than handing a login or a tip to a copy. Never send account passwords, scans of your ID, or “verification” tips to prove you are a regular. A real model who already knows you does not need your password.
What does not transfer
Tokens do not transfer. Fan club months do not transfer. King status does not transfer. A private menu may be rewritten because the new site takes a different cut or bans a different list of acts. Arrive as a new viewer with manners, not as a creditor. “I spent a lot on the old site” is not a coupon. Tokens stay on the site that sold them. If you still have a balance on the old site, read unused tokens and expiry before you abandon the account in a huff.
How to say hello on the new site
One line is enough: you watched on the old site, you are glad they landed, you are not owed anything. Do not recap old privates in the new public chat. Do not ask them to break the new site’s rules because the old site allowed something. Rules are per platform. Reading the rules again is the respectful version of being a regular.
If the new lobby feels wrong, you are allowed to stay on the old site and find someone else. Loyalty is optional. Finding models you like is a skill you can reuse. A move is not a betrayal of the viewer. It is a job decision you do not have to follow.
If the old room starts broadcasting again
Sometimes the “move” was a break, or a second account they use on certain days. Broadcasting on more than one site is common. If both rooms are live and both claim to be the same person, believe the one that matches the voice and the set you know, and be slow with money until you are sure. Two live faces is a reason to watch, not a reason to tip both.
