A lot of viewers want a slower show than the one the public room is running. Public rooms run hot because the crowd rewards speed. A private is where pace is actually negotiable, and even there “slower” has to be specific. “Slow down” can mean less rush between acts, more talking, a longer tease, or simply “I am not ready”. Those are different requests. The model cannot hit all of them with one adverb.
Say it before the clock is expensive. In a public room on Chaturbate or Stripchat, the pace belongs to the topic and the goal, not to you. In a private on LiveJasmin or Flirt4Free, you bought time, and pace is a fair thing to name. Public versus private is the reason the same sentence works in one place and fails in the other.
Be concrete
Useful: “Can we stay with this and go slower?” “More talking, less rushing the menu.” “Pause here.” Useless: “You’re doing it wrong.” “Be more sensual,” with no example. Models hear the vague version all day and correctly treat it as mood, not instruction. How to make a request is the general craft. Slower is one request, so it gets one sentence.
If what you want is edging, denial, or a long tease, use those words only if they are on the menu or the model has already offered them. Do not assume “slower” secretly means a fetish they did not list. Edging shows and tease menus are where that want already has a name. Use the name if it is for sale. Inventing it mid-private is how a pace note becomes a new act.
Timing
Ask at the start of a private, not after you have spent the block wishing. A model who has planned a sequence can often change the speed. They cannot always rewind the last five minutes. In public, ask only if it fits the topic. If the topic is a countdown to a specific act, “slower” fights the room. Read the topic first. If the whole room paid for a finish, your pace note is a private conversation, not a public veto.
If they say the pace stays, accept it or leave. You are not owed a custom tempo at the public price. Ending cleanly is better than a critique of their speed while the meter runs.
Your own pace counts too
Sometimes “slower” means you need the show to wait while you catch up, or you need less stimulation, or you want to stop. Say stop if you mean stop. A model cannot see your side of the screen unless you are on cam-to-cam, and even then they cannot feel your timing. The last minute is a good place for “let’s just talk until the clock ends” if that is the slower you actually wanted.
If every show feels too fast, you may be booking rooms that sell speed. Filter for tease, JOI, or hangout. JOI and hangout rooms are built to linger. A room built to hit a goal will not linger because one viewer asked.
If slower is really “stop”
Sometimes the honest word is stop, not slower. Use stop. Models cannot decode a hint when a meter is running, and a hint that means “I am done” will be heard as “keep going, but differently”, which spends more minutes. Ending is a favor to both of you when the pace note is actually an exit.
You can want a slow show on another night without finishing this one at full speed out of politeness. Politeness is a clear word. It is not extra time you did not want. Use the last minute to land, not to renegotiate the whole hour.
